We are seeking an experienced Switchboard Operator to work two evening shifts per fortnight (Saturday and Sunday). Applicants need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a calm and friendly demeanor, pleasant telephone manner. Experience on a large switchboard (preferably with experience on an NEC SYSTEM) and knowledge of the VITAL patient system would be an advantage.
Previous computer experience is essential as you will be handling a computerised switchboard. In addition, responsibilities may include maintenance of the staff directory, updating changes and assisting with any admin tasks within the team.
This position is a permanent part-time position and is rostered over a four week roster.
